Here's Fred the red eared slider basking in the sunshine yesterday afternoon.
My husband says Fred is probably the world's most photographed turtle! LOL!

My paternal grandmother crocheted this lovely piece many years ago. It measures thirty-five inches in diameter.

I snapped this photo of Jazzy while she was enjoying the sun shining through the dining room window last Saturday morning.

I zoomed in on this squirrel in a pecan tree in the neighbor's back yard yesterday afternoon. The blue sky with clouds made a nice background for the photo.

I purchased this Better Homes and Gardens brand accent lamp at WalMart this morning. The overall height is 14.25" ~ perfect to set on the cabinet in the entry.

My husband took today off from work, and went with me to do some errands this afternoon. I stopped at the same shopping center as yesterday where the red Ferrari was parked, and it was there again. So I decided to pull up next to the car and take a couple pics. My husband said I shouldn't be parked that close to the car taking pics of it, etc. ??? I told him he takes the fun out of my 365 photo journey!!! :) That's the reason for another photo of the red car ~ not because I like it so much, but because of the conversation.

This is Flash when she's hoping for a belly rub, or just to hear me say, "oh, what a cute puppy!"

This is Kobe's unique begging position ~ or it's also done when she thinks she is being ignored. This photo represents the latter. When she was a puppy and going to obedience class, this is how she ended up on a long down/stay practice. And still now, ten years later, when she is supposed to go lay down during our dinner, we'll look over and see her laying on her back. The funny thing is, it seems that Flash (the new Beagle) has noticed Kobe's behavior, and has added her own style for getting attention. I guess dogs do learn by watching others ~ LOL! I'll share a photo of Flash another day.

I commented about the contents of my purse on this photo a day entry. I forgot one item that I carry in my purse ~ this mini swiss army knife. The scissors is the most used feature of the knife. My husband and I went for coffee at Starbucks on Friday evening, and bought a package of dark chocolate covered cranberries. I used the scissors to open the package. :)

I got this Texas-shaped landscape paver while living in south Texas in the mid nineties. I also have a Texas-shaped cookie cutter. :)
