Oklahoma Brown Tarantula, also known as Texas Brown Tarantula, is a docile species of tarantula.

We saw this tarantula in our front yard yesterday evening. :)

The historic 1922 Atlas Life building opened this summer as a Marriott Courtyard. The four-story vertical neon sign, which was installed on the Boston Avenue exterior in 1946, was built by Claude Neon Federal.

At the end of this street view is the BOK Tower, a 52-story skyscrapper, built in 1975 and designed by Minoru Yamasaki & Associates, the same architect who designed the World Trade Center in New York. This structure is very similar to the WTC towers in appearance and construction.

I decided to give the squirrel a treat he would enjoy more than corn, and also that would be a healthier snack if the Beagles found they could also get a bite out of it. :)

The thermometer on the back porch was showing 110 degrees while I was out mowing the yard late this afternoon. Afterwards, it looked like a storm may be approaching, and the temperature dropped about ten degrees and a light breeze was blowing.
