I love these dogs so much! Wylie Vizsla has been the best pal for Zara Beagle, and for her learning how to be the best Beagle! Zara is ready for her her first best Christmas!

I baked the first cookies of the holiday season. It's the sugar cookie recipe my mother-in-law always made. Instead of rolling out the dough and cutting out the shapes with cookie cutters, I used the oxo good grip cookie press I recently bought.

Zara Beagle! This three year old dog that spent life in a Virginia breeding facility knows how to be a dog! I've now had her in my care for a week. She chases balls and plays with toys, loves her Kong. She wants to counter surf, though she isn't tall enough, lol. She's like a curious Beagle puppy, and she is ready to explore her world.
