Vetmedin ~ Used in the management of certain types of congestive heart failure in dogs. This medication increases the ability of the heart to pump blood. This medication increases the heart muscle's ability to contract and also open up the blood vessels taking blood to and away from the heart. This reduces the heart's workload as it pumps blood throughout the dog's body.



Took Kobe for an exam today. She goes on Monday for a cardiac ultrasound.

This photo of Kobe and Jazzy is from Friday morning as the sun was shining through the front door.

My husband bought Kobe for me in March of 1999. Baby turtles were 'rescued' from my husband's flooded office building in April of the same year. And then while my husband was away on a business trip in August 1999, I took my son to look at Beagle puppies . . . 1999 was the year for new pets at our house. :)

Tickets went on sale last Saturday for the REO Speedwagon / Styx / .38 Special concert at the OKC Zoo Amphitheatre on June 6. I bought a couple tickets for my son as part of his birthday gift. He celebrates his twenty-first birthday in May.

The official salute to the flag of the State of Oklahoma:

I salute the flag of the State of Oklahoma. Its symbols of peace unite all people.

I didn't know there was a state flag pledge. I first moved to Oklahoma in 1981, and have lived in the state three other times since then.

The pledge was adopted by the Oklahoma Legislature in 1982 in celebration of the 75th anniversary of Oklahoma Statehood.

There are a number of other states that also have state flag pledges.

I looked down at the crochet ribbon necklace I put on with my white blouse, and decided it would be perfect for today's photo. I just love this necklace Dolores crocheted for me. The colors are perfect! :)
