The scorpion was in the family room.
Um, you don't live THAT far away from us, huh? I didn't really think scorpions could be in south central KS, but since we're right on the KS/OK border, maybe I'm wrong?? Yikes!! Glad you didn't step on him, not for his sake, but yours!

Thanks, Susan . . . if that's the same species, they grow larger than an inch; this one was close to two inches. I've stepped on a scorpion before, and the sting is painful! This little guy was flushed down the toilet. Yes, scorpions can be found in your state too!
