We had spring weather for awhile yesterday, complete with a tornado warning, but then the cold winter weather returned. So I made soup for dinner. I wanted something like the Trisha Yearwood Chicken Tortilla Soup, but not the quantity of that recipe. I found this recipe, and followed it exactly except I used a different brand of salsa, did oven roasted chicken, omitted the green onions, and I stirred in 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream before serving.
