½ cup softened butter 1 cup sugar 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla ½ cup milk 2 cups flour 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder ¼ teaspoon salt 1 cup blueberries
Cream together sugar and butter. Add eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add milk and flour mixture alternately to creamed mixture. Fold in blueberries. You can use frozen blueberries. Spoon into baking cups in muffin pan.
Combine 2 Tablespoons sugar and ½ teaspoon nutmeg. Sprinkle on muffins before baking.
Bake at 350*F for 25 to 30 minutes. Yield 12 muffins
