My house is in the cul-de-sac, though not visible from this view. A few more weeks and the bermuda grass will green up. It goes dormant in the cooler seasons. The bradford pear trees and redbud trees are already filled with spring color. The redbud is the state tree of Oklahoma.

We live in a cul de sac also. We are greening up some.
I just love Redbud trees in the spring, they are so pretty with color!!

I will have to take another photo after the bermuda turns green, and the trees have leaves to compare. Well, I much prefer green.

Hubby works 2nd shift, but I am ALWAYS up for some mexican, name the date and the time! :) RE: burning to make it green, yep, that is true -- you burn off the weeds and pests (and rodents too, yep, flaming rats and mice, oh my!) My hubby has torched his pastures every spring to encourage the green...
